Who is Hailey Griffin?
Outside of her work and sometimes hectic schedule, Griffin is either writing short stories or reading them. As an avid writer and a nature lover, Griffin finds peace in taking long hikes with a journal in tow. In warmer weather, Griffin hopes to expand her creative portfolio further with personalized, nature-focused video projects.
Hailey Griffin is a UW-Madison alumni who majored in Journalism and International Studies, with a certificate in Digital Studies.
As someone who is passionate about writing and video-editing, Griffin finds purpose in telling stories (or helping others tell stories) through written and visual mediums.
Her resilient take on life, her empathetic nature, her leadership qualities, and her creative knack for narrative rendering lend a unique and thought-provoking edge to her work.
Griffin's past works with WORT FM, The Clarion, and Yahara Journal demonstrate how she's been able to incorporate her passions into various different fields of interest, such as journalism, communications, and media production.
In her most recent role, Griffin assisted instructors from UW-Madison's business program with different video-editing and media production projects.
She used Adobe Creative Cloud software such as Adobe Audition and Adobe Premiere Pro to edit video-related course material and other video-based projects.
She hopes to use the knowledge she's gained in this role in a full-time post-production or communications position.
Griffin's professional achievements range from her inclusion on UW-Madison's Dean's List to recognition of her work with Yahara Journal at the 2020 Associated Collegiate Press National Media Convention.
