Madison Metropolitan School District And Badger Bus Lines Combat Bus Driver Shortages

This audio clip features a news show that I produced for WORT 89.9 FM in the summer of 2021. As part of the internship that I participated in with WORT 89.9 FM, I reported on different local events in Madison.

One of such events includes the bus driver shortage that the Madison Metropolitan School District has experienced for the past several years. To gather information for this local newscast, I reached out to MMSD’s public information officer, Elizabeth Merfeld. I also talked to Dee Thompson, the hiring and managing recruiter for Badger Bus Lines.
