I created the ‘Being a Mentor’ project while I was employed at the Wisconsin School of Business as Media Production Assistant in the Teaching and Learning department. This project features one of the several videos that I created to promote interest in actuarial science at the Wisconsin School of Business. I worked with one of the actuarial science professors in the business school to see what their media goals were. I edited interviews with input from professionals in the field pertaining to multiple actuarial science-related topics.

As part of this project, I edited clips from multiple different interviews into one larger sequence. Clips from each interviewee about similar topics were grouped together. I edited the motion graphics featured in the sequence, and I incorporated the Wisconsin School of Business chevron branding element. I came up with key takeaways as requested per the client. In addition, I found stock music options to use throughout the video.
